Reno Savoya wins his third consecutive European 1/8th Off Road Championship 

Our very own 3 time consecutive junior champion Elliott Boots finished a superb 8th place over all, in the the first year as a senior racer!

Along with Reno, Elliott had his fair share of problems, with consistency and servo issues causing Elliott to loose a round so was on the back foot from the second run. due to the track breaking up the early runs were going to be the ones where you need to get a good run in without too many mistakes etc. Elliott Qualified in the 1/4 finals and drove a superb race through to the semi's, which he was the class of the field in his semi final, his raw pace awarded him with a 5th place overall start in the main 45 minute final. After a good start, a technical problem caused the race to be halted and re-started straight away. Elliott appeared to have a good start but over the back section on the first lap got caught in the melay of carnage, putting him down the order . But through out the 45 minutes Elliott drove superbly well and relatively trouble free 45 minutes he finished the highest UK driver beating Lee Martin across the line to finish a superb 8th Position. An excellent drive for his first year as a senior driver.
